Blueberry and Apple Crisp

rolled oats

brown sugar

cinnamon & nutmeg

cornstarch

blueberries

butter

vanilla

apples

flour

Peel, core, and slice the apples into ¼" thick slices.

Add the sliced apples and blueberries to a large mixing bowl and gently toss with the spices, vanilla, sugar, and cornstarch.

Mix together all ingredients for the crisp topping using a fork until small and medium crumbles form.

Grease the bottom of a baking dish and add the fruit and leftover juices and spices.

Top all of the fruit with the crisp topping, then bake until golden and the juices are bubbling.

Cool for 20 minutes to allow the fruit juices to set, then serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
