Pimiento Cheese Pretzel Bombs

Flour

Warm water

Yeast & salt

Brown Sugar

Melted butter

Baking Soda

Pimento Cheese

Mix together the flour, salt and instant yeast.

Add the brown sugar, butter and water to the bowl of a stand mixer.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet.

Mix with the dough hook until a soft dough forms.

Knead by hand for 3-5 minutes.

Place in an oiled bowl and cover to rise until doubled in size.

Cut the dough into even pieces.

Gently pat into a circle.

Add a ball of frozen pimento cheese.

Pull the dough up to cover the cheese, then pinch it to seal.

Roll on the counter to finish sealing.

Boil in a baking soda water bath for 30 seconds.

Sprinkle with coarse sea salt, then bake until golden brown.

Pull apart and enjoy these cheese, spicy stuff pretzels!
