Homemade Caramel Marshmallow Candy Bars

Melt butter, then add brown sugar.

Stir and heat until completely melted.

Add in sweetened condensed milk.

Bring to a boil, then add salt and vanilla.

Pour the caramel into a prepared 8x8" pan to set.

Heat sugar syrup and add to gelatin to create the marshmallow.

Pour the marshmallow over the set caramel layer.

Spread the marshmallow evenly, then allow it to set.

Cut the candy into bars using a sharp knife.

Freeze the bars, then coat each one in melted chocolate.

Use two forks to lift it out and let the excess chocolate drip off.

Add a drizzle of extra melted chocolate to the top of each candy bar.

Top with flaky sea salt (don't skip this part!)

Gift to friends, and bite in and enjoy!
