Flaky Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry

Thyme

Dijon mustard

Ham

Egg

Sharp aged cheddar cheese

Puff pastry

Add dijon mustard to half of the pastry square.

Add shredded cheese.

Add pieces of thinly sliced ham.

Add more cheese on top of the ham.

Wet exposed edges, then gently pull the pastry and stretch it over top of the filling.

Press the pastry together to seal it.

Use a fork to crimp the edges to finish sealing.

Brush egg wash onto each turnover.

Cut small slits into the pastry to release steam, then bake until golden brown.

Enjoy hot and fresh out of the oven!
