Fig Jam & Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

Gently roll out the puff pastry to ⅛" thick (keeping it mostly square) & place it into a cast iron skillet.

Add the wheel of brie to the center of the puff pastry. Use a butter knife and insert it halfway through the top rind and turn the knife to make holes all over the cheese.

Spread the fig jam on top of the brie wheel to the edges.

Brush egg wash on the inside of the pastry, then fold the corners upwards and press the seams together.

Brush the exposed pastry with egg wash to coat it completely, getting down the edges of the puff pastry.

Slice in and enjoy the gooey, sweet and salty cheese!
