Chocolate Chip Cookies with Brown Butter

Add brown butter, brown sugar and white sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer.

Beat until creamy, then scrape down the sides.

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix to combine. Then, add chopped chocolate.

Allow the dough to rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours. This gives it the best flavor!

Scoop balls of dough onto a prepared cookie sheet.

Make a small indent in each ball of dough.

Fill with a mix of milk and dark chocolate.

Ready to bake!

Bake until the edges are just set and the middles still look underdone.

Use a round object larger than the cookies to go around each cookie and make them perfectly round, then top with flaky sea salt.
