Apple Cider Slush

Freeze 3 cups of apple cider in ice cube trays (or flat in zip-top bags).

Dip the rim of the glasses in apple cider (or water).

Dip the wet rim in cinnamon sugar, then place the glasses in the freezer. This helps the slushies melt more slowly.

Add the apple cider ice cubes to a blender.

Add the maple syrup and alcohol, if using.

Add the remaining 2 cups of cold apple cider. If you are adding more spices, add them at this point.

Blend the apple cider until a smooth, frozen slushie consistency forms.

Carefully pour or spoon the slushie into the chilled glasses, and serve immediately.
